Practices
Your First Practice
- As we practice outside, make sure to dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes.
- We provide all the necessary equipment. If you wish to use your own equipment it will need to be inspected by an officer before use.
- At your first practice, make sure to check in with an officer so that they can perform safety training for you. This safety training ensures that members can practice archery safely and responsibly and follow range rules.

Locations
Currently, the Oregon State Archery Club shoots at EE Wilson and the OSU Equestrian Center.
The EE Wilson Archery Range is located 10 miles north of Corvallis. This range is owned and operated by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and is open to the public. It has a maximum distance of 100 yards.
The club meets on-campus to carpool to this range. (See "On-campus meeting spot" tab).
The OSU Equestrian Center Horse Arena is located about two miles west of campus and offers a maximum shooting distance of 20 yards. Please note that unlike EE Wilson, this space is only available to shoot at during official Archery Club practices.
Our club meets on-campus to carpool to this range (See "On campus meeting spot" tab). Note that this range is also within biking distance and accessible via the Campus Way and Walnut Blvd bike paths.
If you need a ride to the range or are driving other people to the range, meet us on the sidewalk near Dryden hall, as shown in the image above. Dryden hall is on the west side of campus near the intersection of 30th and Washington Way.
