Meet with an Oregon State University Peer Wellness Coach for facilitated conversations about your well-being. Common topics include stress management, physical activity, academic performance, career goals and interpersonal relationships.
Fitness Friends
Fitness and Wellness Representatives partner with you to provide:
- Tours of Rec Sports facilities.
- Information about Rec Sports adventure, sport, fitness and wellness programs.
- A friendly workout partner.
Fitness and Wellness Leadership Program
The leadership program offers a combination of academic and hands-on experiences to develop skills in personal training, group fitness, and wellness coaching. Successful completion of the coursework makes students eligible for competitive positions in Recreational Sports, PAC, and Faculty Staff Fitness, as well as post-graduation kinesiology careers.

Empower Hours
Empower Hours are inclusive, strength training sessions designed to create welcoming spaces for movement, connection and empowerment. These free weekly sessions offer guided resistance training in a supportive environment where everyone can feel strong and seen.
All OSU students and Rec Sports members are welcome to attend.

Held at the start of fall, winter, and spring terms, Wellness Week offers free classes and opportunities to explore everything the Rec Sports Fitness & Wellness Team has to offer. From training and group fitness to wellness resources and community connection.
