What is Wellness Coaching?
Wellness coaching is a free service for OSU students that offers support for navigating transitions and overcoming challenges.
Our peer coaches empower and help you:
- Focus on your strengths and values.
- Work towards personal, meaningful goals.
- Identify resources that help you get where you want to go.
- Build on what's working in your life rather than getting stuck on what's not.
- Take steps toward becoming the person you want to be.

- Available every Monday and Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Fitness & Wellness Lounge.

Wellness Coaching Process - First Appointment
During your first wellness coaching appointment, you will meet with your coach to:
- Establish areas of wellness for coaching.
- Review character strengths profile.
- Create long and short term goals.
- Explore possible resources.
- Define next steps.

Wellness Coaching Process - Follow-up Appointments
Follow-up appointments are unlimited and can be scheduled at your convenience.
At a follow-up appointment you will work with your coach to:
- Review progress towards weekly goals.
- Celebrate successes.
- Discuss barriers to progress and possible solutions.
- Review character strengths.
- Explore possible resources.
- Set weekly goals and next steps.
Wellness Coaching seeks to provide a process you can replicate on your own to achieve goals and advocate for your own well-being.
