Family Swim

Family swim is a great way to share the fun of the Dixon Pool. When participating in family swim time, the following supervision limits and guidelines will be strictly enforced:

• Must be accompanied by a participating adult (age 18 or older) at all times
• May only participate during Family Access Hours  
• If a child is not able to move in the water without feet touching the bottom or needs to wear a life-jacket, the child is considered a non-swimmer. Only three “non-swimmers” per adult and the adult must be in the water within arm’s reach of the children.
• Only five “swimmers” per adult and the adult must be able to directly observe the children.
• Babies are allowed in the pool with plastic swim diapers

Kayak Roll Sessions

• Come learn how to perform effective kayak rolls that allow you to quickly right your boat.
• Classes are offered in the Dixon Recreational Center Pool. 
• Wednesdays, 7:30-9 p.m., Jan. 7-March 11
• No registration is needed
• Fee is $5 for OSU Students, Rec Sports Members and day pass holders. Fees are paid day of at the Dixon entry desks.  

Note: If you bring your kayak, you must drop it off in the back loading dock and thoroughly spray/clean the boat inside and out before dropping it off on the pool deck.

Pride Swim Night

Join us for Pride Swim at the Dixon Recreation Center Pool. This fun and inclusive event centered on the LGBTQIA2S+.

This free event is open to all OSU fee-paying students and Rec Sports members, so come and make a splash with us!
