Pick-up Basketball and Soccer

Just show up and play! There are often in-progress games you can join, or you can always start your own.

Basketball Pick-Up Games

Basketball pick-up games frequently occur Monday through Friday around 5 p.m. in the second-floor gyms of Dixon Recreation Center.

Soccer Pick-Up Games

Soccer pick-up games are often happening early afternoon on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at Student Legacy Park.

Racket Connections

Racket connections is your way to find a partner for a variety of sports, including badminton, table tennis, pickleball, racquetball, squash and tennis.

To get started, visit the Racket Connections bulletin board outside of Dixon Recreation Center's lower gym. Fill out an empty tag with your information and determine if you want to play for fun or competition.

Fun Play

  1. Hang your tag to the right of the orange column to let others know you want to play. 
  2. Contact anyone on the board to schedule a game.

Competitive Play

  1. Hang your tag to the left of the orange column to let others know you want to play.
  2. Contact anyone on the board to schedule a game.
  3. Agree on rules before you play. (Find official rules at the equipment issue desk.)
  4. Move tags (only) when you win.
    1. Update your last played date.
    2. Take your competitor’s place, shifting them and others one position to the right.
