Facility Access
Show OSU or government-issued, photo identification at entry desk. Must currently be enrolled and paying fees at Corvallis Campus or have a current Rec Sports membership.
Dress Code
Wear tops (e.g., tank tops, sports bras, t-shirts, sweatshirts) and bottoms (e.g., shorts, leggings, pants, workout bodysuits). No Vibram shoes.
Photo Code
Personal photos and video are not allowed in locker rooms, bathrooms or pool area. They are permitted in other areas with the permission of all subjects, who must be fully clothed (no additional subjects captured in the background). Photos and video for any purpose other than personal use require prior approval from Rec Sports marketing and communications staff.
Youth Access Guidelines
Indoor Climbing
Participants must have a current waiver on file for bouldering, top-rope climbing, and lead climbing in either of the indoor climbing facilities. Belay skills checks are required annually.
Lockers
Free locks and lockers are available for checkout during your visit. Overnight storage requires locker rental. Personal locks are prohibited on rental lockers and are removed at the owner's expense. Items left in lockers beyond rental expiration date are cleared and held no longer than 30 days before disposal. Reclamation subject to a storage fee.
Outdoor Equipment Rental
Prepaid, in-person reservations, up to two weeks in advance. Pick-up and return only during ALI operation hours. Cancel up to three business days prior to reservation for full refund. Fees may be assessed for excessively dirty, damaged or lost equipment.
Refund and Cancelation Policy
Refund eligibility and value is determined by purchase type and timing. It's Rec Sports' philosophy to be responsible in its commitments to customers and to anticipate equal treatment in return. When a customer initiates action with registration or reservation, the department commits to preparation and delivery of facilities, activities, events, products, and/or services.
Membership and Access
- Rec Sports Membership Passes are non-refundable, except in the case of documented injury, illness or relocation. Such situations require that immediate notification be given to the Recreational Sports Operations and Membership Coordinator.
- STATEMENT OF RISK:
- Risk is inherent in all recreational activities, programs, classes and services. Participants become involved at their own risk and should be prepared to accept this element of risk as part of their participation.
- Participation in any Rec Sports activity may be revoked for violation of law, OSU policy, or as needed for OSU to comply with law or OSU policy. In those circumstances, the activity, program, class or service fee will be refunded on a pro-rate basis.
- Note: When the customer opts for payroll deduction, no refund will be considered until total payments deducted exceed the value of benefits already realized.
Activities, Classes & Services
- To be eligible for a refund, you must cancel or reschedule the activity at least 24 hours before the beginning of the FIRST class, activity or service being provided.
Adventure Trips
- Must be canceled at least 24 hours before the beginning of the Pre-trip meeting.
Products
- No refunds shall be granted for purchases of personal items such as whistles, first aid kits, etc.
Adventure Leadership Institute Refund Request
Contracts
Contracts that are altered by the user after signature shall be charged a rescheduling fee of 10% of the total contract value, as delineated in the text of the contract.
Contracts that are canceled by the user within seven calendar days of service delivery shall be charged a cancelation fee of 25% of the total contract value, as delineated in the text of the contract.
Additional Conditions
Within the same business day, if a customer changes their mind about purchasing a membership, an activity, a contract, or a service and they do not realize the benefit within that day, a full refund will be awarded without penalty or processing fee.
