About Us

This competitive swimming club offers students the chance to compete against other college club teams. Members will practice and train together with the shared goal of improving their speed and potentially qualifying for the national championship meet.

Membership

Joining the Club

We take new members throughout the season.

Participants must be able to swim at least four lengths of the pool without stopping.

Paying Membership Dues

Dues for the 2024-25 season are $80 for practice only or $150 for competitive membership. Both membership tiers also include a free cap and t-shirt once they become available.

Practices

  • Practices vary between 2,000 and 4,000 yards, with different intervals and separate lanes available to accommodate swimmers of all skill levels.
  • We welcome swimmers of all skill levels.
  • While we are a competitive team, participation in competitions is encouraged but not mandatory.
  • Our practices offer a variety of lanes and sendoffs tailored to different abilities, ensuring everyone feels comfortable. Please note that we do not provide swimming lessons.
  • Participants must be able to swim at least four lengths of the pool to participate.

Schedule

The Swim Club practices 5 days a week. 

  • Mondays, 9:30-10 p.m., Langton Hall
  • Tuesday through Thursday, 7:30-9 p.m., Dixon Recreation Center
  • Fridays, 6-7:30 p.m., Dixon Recreation Center
