Participants gain first aid skills, CPR/AED skills and aquatic rescue techniques to skills and knowledge to keep aquatic patrons safe. This program includes aquatic-specific rescues, and First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.  Participants meet the ARC prerequisite requirements the first day of the course to participate in the remainder of the course.  These include continuously swimming 500 yards, retrieving a 10 pound brick from 10 feet underwater and treading water for 2 minutes on the first day of class to continue with the course.
