Oregon State University will delay opening campus until 10am due to freezing rain and icy conditions. Dixon Recreation Center will open at 6am and operate with normal Academic Term hours on Monday, Jan. 4. Please exercise extreme caution when traveling to campus and/or Dixon Recreation Center as roads and sidewalks will likely be icy and hazardous.


Oregon State University official announcement:

"Due to sub-freezing weather and the possibility of continued freezing rain in the north Willamette Valley, the opening of Oregon State University’s Corvallis campus will be delayed until 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 4. University employees and students are urged to use caution when commuting to work and classes at the Corvallis campus. University officials will monitor weather conditions overnight. OSU employees and students are encouraged to check the OSU homepage at 8:30 a.m. on Monday morning for additional weather-related details. Employees whose job descriptions are designated as essential positions are expect to report to work at their regularly scheduled time."
