Dixon Recreation Center is now Open.

Power has been restored earlier than expected but we still anticipate opening at noon today. Stay tune for updates.


Dixon will be closed until 12pm on Thursday, Nov 3. 


Oregon State University’s Corvallis campus is experiencing a power outage that is expected to last until noon on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, and is affecting the following buildings:
·        Finley Hall
·        Bloss Hall
·        Arnold Dining Center
·        Gill Coliseum
·        Dixon Recreation  Center
In order to make repairs that will reliably restore and sustain electrical service, Pacific Power – the utility serving the campus -- will need to shut down electrical service to the following buildings for approximately 30 minutes beginning around 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2. As final repairs are made, the following buildings will also experience another 30-minute shutdown when the final repair is completed.
·        Naval ROTC
·        Facilities Shops
·        Old Heat Plant
·        Tebeau Hall
·        ILLC
·        Goss Stadium
As well, OSU’s Veterinary Research Lab and the Freezer Farm will be out for the duration of the repairs.
OSU Facilities Services and UHDS staff are working cooperatively to minimize the disruption to the campus community. Updates will be provided as available.


Dixon Recreation Center does not anticipate returned power until midnight. Dixon is closed for the remainder of the day. McAlexander Fieldhouse is open until midnight. 

UPDATE 2:00pm 

IM Flag Football, Bowling, and Volleyball will still be played tonight.   Wheelchair basketball is cancelled. 

UPDATE 10:54am 

All group fit classes today cancelled. DAM fit still a go at Mac. Pool is closed for the rest of the day. kayak roll sessions are cancelled.
